Ladies Room was a site-specific wall drawing created for the exhibition "Bitch School: Artists Examine Our Views of Strong Women" at the Longwood Arts Project, Bronx, NY, 2002. A handmade artist's book accompanied the wall work. The drawing was 16 feet wide by 11 feet high, created with latex house paint, upholstery foam (pop-up sections -- see details, below), paper, and ink. This temporary work existed in the space from January 28 - March 30, 2002. |
